Kennewick’s test results for reading, math, writing and science are available here. Scores reported are from the WASL (Washington Assessment of Student Learning), MSP (Measurements of Student Progress), HSPE (High School Proficiency Exams), EOC (End of Course) and MAP (Measures of Academic Progress).
The WASL has been discontinued and replaced by the MSP, HSPE and EOC. MSP scores are for grades 3 through 8 and the HSPE for grade 10. EOC scores are for math classes.
The MSP, HSPE and EOC are required state exams. The MAP, while not required, is a testing program Kennewick has chosen for supplemental information. The MAP is a product of the NWEA (Northwest Evaluation Association).

Our thanks to Superintendent Dave Bond for providing this data.

I am confused. There are several slides with the caption “Percentage of Students at or Above the 50th Percentile” that do not seem to have labels on the X and Y axes. What is this ?
